I See Them in a Dream

My friend and his daughter
Wait silently under a starless night
She makes a sound only he can hear
He cries out

“Wow”

His heart bursts into Light
Until the whole field is ablaze
She stands with him in that place
So he can bear it

Sound is Light
Made flesh:
In the beginning
Is the Love

Only she can feel it at first
Takes him there
Holds the space
Until the wounds dry up
